Link equity, often called link juice, is the ranking value a link passes from one page to another, depending on the linking page's authority and relevance.

What Link equity means
A followed link from a strong, relevant page passes more equity than one from a weak or unrelated page. Equity is split among a page's outbound links and also flows through your own internal links, which is why linking to important pages from your homepage helps them rank.
